Age and account requirements
You must be at least 18 years old to create an account. Provide accurate account information, keep your password private, and contact us if you believe your account has been accessed without permission.
Do not impersonate another person or business, use another person’s account without permission, or create accounts to evade a restriction.
Personal builds and business services
Personal build profiles are free. You may maintain more than one build, subject to the upload limits shown in the app and reasonable measures to prevent misuse.
Any optional paid business service will have its price, scope, and applicable terms presented before purchase. Creating a personal build does not enrol you in a paid service.
Your content
You retain ownership of content you create. Only upload photographs, text, logos, and other material that you own or have permission to use.
You give Park & Rev the non-exclusive permission needed to store, process, resize, and display your content through the platform, in accordance with the visibility settings and features you use.
This permission supports operating the platform and presenting public content in its community and featured sections. It does not transfer ownership of your content.
Do not publish someone else’s private contact details, address, or other personal information without an appropriate basis or permission.
Community conduct
Do not use Park & Rev to:
- Harass, threaten, abuse, or target other people.
- Publish unlawful, discriminatory, or fraudulent material.
- Post spam, misleading promotions, or false business claims.
- Encourage dangerous driving or organise unlawful road activity.
- Upload malicious files or attempt unauthorised access.
- Interfere with the platform or bypass its access controls.
Content or accounts may be restricted where reasonably necessary to address a breach of these terms, a security concern, or a legal obligation. Contact us if you believe a restriction was applied incorrectly.
Visibility and blocking
Public profiles, public builds, published businesses, and public events may be viewed without signing in. Choose carefully what you include in public content.
Blocking limits access between signed-in accounts. Car of the Week stories and their photographs remain visible despite blocks. Blocking does not remove copies previously saved by others or prevent signed-out viewing of public content.
Businesses and modification credits
Business listings and modification credits may be supplied by members or business owners. An “Installed by” or “Purchased from” credit is a member’s statement and is not confirmation that the business has verified it.
A listing, credit, or featured placement is not a guarantee of workmanship, product quality, availability, or suitability. Confirm quotations, specifications, warranties, and payment arrangements directly with the relevant business.
Unless expressly stated for a particular service, Park & Rev is not a party to transactions between members and listed businesses.
Events and vehicle information
Event organisers are responsible for their event information, permissions, and arrangements. Confirm current details with the organiser before travelling or attending.
Build descriptions and modification discussions are member-provided information. Check safety, roadworthiness, insurance requirements, and legal requirements with appropriately qualified people before modifying or using a vehicle.
Privacy, exports, and account deletion
Our Privacy policy explains how personal information is handled.
Settings provides tools to edit your profile, manage blocks, export account records and stored photographs, and delete your account. Crew owners must transfer ownership or delete their crew before deleting their account.
Keep your own copies of important content. Expired events may be removed, and the platform is not intended to be your only archive.
Availability and your legal rights
Features may be temporarily unavailable during maintenance, faults, or interruptions. We will take reasonable steps to address problems reported to us.
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits a right, remedy, obligation, or liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.
Changes and enquiries
Revised terms will be published here with an updated date. Material changes will be brought to users’ attention through an appropriate notice before taking effect.
These terms are governed by South African law, subject to any mandatory protections that apply to you. Send questions, complaints, or content concerns to [email protected]. This contact process does not prevent you from using any applicable legal remedy.
